Born and raised in Maine, I have been an artist since the late 1970's. As a nature lover, I believe Maine is the best place for finding inspiration. With my backpack in hand, loaded with a camera and drawing paraphernalia it's off to explore the many recreational activities like boating, walking/hiking, swimming and bicycling. The drawings and photos taken on these excursions are used to compose my works.
The business started in 1996 as mdcgraphics, now known as The Artist's Eye fine and graphic arts, creating custom made designs by hand and by computer for commercial as well as residential clients. Whether it's a painting, pen and ink, murals, glass etchings, logos, notecards, business cards or brochures, may diane will work with the client's specifications and ideas helping them develop a design specifically for their needs.
I also teach Adult Ed classes in Photoshop, and privately tutor individuals in both Photoshop and Art.
